Peran Strategis Tenaga Administrasi Kesehatan Dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pelayanan Kesehatan: Tinjauan Literatur

Abstract

Tenaga administrasi kesehatan memegang peran strategis dalam sistem pelayanan kesehatan yang kerap kali luput dari perhatian. Mereka bertanggung jawab atas pengelolaan data pasien, pengarsipan, sistem informasi kesehatan, pelayanan administrasi asuransi, serta koordinasi layanan antar unit. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kontribusi tenaga administrasi dalam peningkatan mutu pelayanan kesehatan melalui pendekatan studi pustaka (literature review). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa tenaga administrasi kesehatan berdampak langsung terhadap efisiensi layanan, manajemen antrian, kepuasan pasien, dan keberhasilan implementasi transformasi digital melalui SIMRS (Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit). Selain itu, kompetensi tenaga administrasi kesehatan dalam digital literacy dan manajemen mutu menjadi faktor penentu keberhasilan pelayanan kesehatan di era digitalisasi. Temuan ini memperkuat urgensi penguatan pelatihan, pengembangan kompetensi, dan pengakuan profesional terhadap peran tenaga administrasi dalam sistem pelayanan kesehatan.

Abstract

Health administrators play a strategic role in the health care system that often goes unnoticed. They are responsible for patient data management, archiving, health information systems, insurance administration services, and coordination of services between units. This article aims to examine the contribution of administrative staff in improving the quality of health services through a literature review approach. The results show that health administration personnel have a direct impact on service efficiency, queue management, patient satisfaction, and the successful implementation of digital transformation through SIMRS (Hospital Management Information System). In addition, the competence of health administration personnel in digital literacy and quality management is a determining factor for the success of health services in the era of digitalization. These findings reinforce the urgency of strengthening training, competency development, and professional recognition of the role of administrative personnel in the health care system.
